Miromedia’s Inaugural N64 Night

Amongst other defunct tech, we’ve somehow got our hands on a working N64 with GoldenEye and MarioKart.

It’s like being 15 again.

As of now, the first Wednesday of every month is retro gaming night at Miromedia. After we managed to get our hands on a working N64 (it’s harder than you’d think) and working copies of GoldenEye and MarioKart (even harder than the console) we can all pretend it’s the late 1990’s again. And by that, we mean we can all sit around in a room with a smile on our face and quickly deteriorate into calling each other horrendous names (the swear box got a pounding) and stomping off in a strop because “MY CONTROLLER DOESN’T WORK!” or “WHY CAN’T I SHOOT ANYONE?!”

And that was just Gus.

The main thing is though, it put a smile on everyone’s face…however temporary.
