Miromedia & Cycle SOS team up for London to Paris ride

Simon JonesStuff

As we mentioned in a blog last week, our client Cycle SOS is sponsoring the London 2 Paris: Inspiring The Revolution event that takes place from 18th-22nd June and is aimed at raising £1m for Cure Leukaemia. We also told you that our director Ian is taking part in the ride on his shiny new bike. Seriously, look how happy he is. It’s sickening.

Ian will also be joined on the ride by his good friend Stuart Insall who is also involved in the Kenilworth community as the owner of The Kenilworth, a boutique hotel and cocktail lounge.

We’re really pleased to see that the story of three Kenilworth businesses taking part in such an enduring charitable ride has been featured in today’s Kenilworth Weekly News. Ian was quoted in the article, stating why the ride and Cure Leukaemia is so important to him and so many others:

“This is a very personal cause as my mother was diagnosed with a rare strain of Hodgkin Lymphoma in August. She was treated as Coventry University Hospital and so I know how much Cure Leukaemia needs continued support and funding. The fantastic care and level of support she was provided with was extraordinary. She is now in remission, I am so proud of her and absolutely delighted to be able to give something back.”

If you would like to add to the amazing total that Ian and Stuart have raised between them – over £3,700 so far – you can visit Ian’s JustGiving page.
