What a fab night I had last Friday when I was invited to attend the Cherwell Business Awards with one of our clients – Healthy Performance – who were nominated for the Small Business Award. We had a ball. It was black tie, so I got all dressed up and even washed my hair. Not that anyone noticed.
I picked up some of the team on the way and as we made our way to the venue, I started to get excited at the possibility that Healthy Performance could win. They were in a tough group, facing competition from LCMB and One Man Band, both of which are small businesses who have performed very well over the last year.
The Small Business Award was sponsored by OxLEP, and I had goose bumps as they started introducing the 3 finalists and covered what had been achieved over the last calendar year. It was then time to announce the winner…
and the winner is…Healthy Performance!
Wayne Campbell (Managing Director, far right) punched the air in delight and the whole table erupted. Wayne then went to collect the award. Fortunately there was no speeches, otherwise we might have been there for a while, as there is no doubt Wayne would have wanted to thank his hard working team for their contributions.
Miromedia are very proud to be working with Healthy Performance and we are very excited about the new website we are building for this young and exciting company. It will really knock the spots off their competitors and continue to assist their company growth.
