Wordpress / PHP Developer Role

Miromedia are looking to employ a Wordpress and PHP specialist to join their creative online marketing team in a permanent role.

You will be joining a highly creative, enthusiastic team who pride themselves on their professionalism and the quality of their output. Our client base is varied and we provide services including Online Marketing, Paid Search, Website Design and associated services.

To undertake website project work for new and existing clients as required by our marketing team, and provide technical assistance for the client websites that we support. Implementing SEO related changes to improve website performance and increase impact for our clients’ customers, and increasing their ROI. In addition you will be required to update websites with custom features or functionality that target a particular goal or help improve conversion rates on a site.

In addition to SEO and web task work there will be an element of support for our existing clients' websites. Hosted with our web hosting provider and WPEngine for Wordpress sites.

• Excellent working knowledge of WordPress, creating themes and plugins
• Excellent understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
• Be able to think dynamically and react quickly to the needs of our clients and the team
• A clear understanding of responsive web design principles
• Work efficiently to resolve issues
• Be able to adapt to changing requirements or evolving marketing strategies
• Think logically and clearly about any changes that you make and the possible impact of those on other areas of a website or the business
• Be able to meet and talk with clients to discuss requirements before proposing a solution that is cost effective and realistic.

• Knowledge of: MailChimp, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager
• Exposure to Google Adwords
