Anybody having doubts about the force of the Internet?

How is this for a story. A new crowd sourcing Star Wars YouTube video has received 4 million visitors in 10 days.

My friends at work don’t like a lot of the content, and guess what, I don’t like it that much either. That said, there are some real gems in there and it looks like this phenomena will grow and grow. In the early days of the internet, companies like Lucas Arts would look to strike down these kind of videos, but now they are stronger than the Lucas empire could ever imagine.

I was surprised when my father, who I have recently reunited with, spoke about the merits of a united internet. I see now that it was only a matter of time before the whole globe was working together and it’s not something that I would want to rebel against.

Maybe there is hope?
