Google has recently launched a new section on its site entitle ‘Where the Internet Lives’. Its a fair description, although Bing, Yahoo and a few other might have something to say about it.

Inside Google's data centers

Data centres, network rooms and cooling facilities are all available to see for the first time. They have even added street view to their data centre in North Carolina. Its well wroth a look as it provides a rare insight into how much space and equipment is needed to run such a massive organisation. 8 global locations are covered in the photo gallery.
