Video Messaging, Why Bother?

Ian HancockVideo

Are you getting your message across? Is there always so much to say and not enough time? Are you finding that your emails are unread or trashed with little response or feedback? Maybe you need a different way to make contact?

Have you thought about video messaging?

Have a look at this link for Vsnap, for an excellent way to communicate with your client base and sales opportunities. 30 seconds information in a video equates to 5 mins via email, plus the video can be more engaging and freindly. Of course there are obstacles with creating videos, but, if you can be imaginative, you have an excellent chance of getting a reaction.

Are you on board,……… good. So, how do you go about creating a message?

It’s pretty straight forward to use the Vsnap software, just download the app, press record and send the finished video to your chosen recipient. Why not start with a test, to get to grips with how things work. From there, you need to look at the reasons to send a message. For example, when contacting someone think about some of the following:-

  • Who are you contacting?
  • Why are you contacting them?
  • How can you help them?
  • What are their interests?
  • What can you offer?
  • Why should they use you?
  • What is the call to action?

Above are just a few ways to start thinking about getting your message across.

Stay tuned for my next blog, as we start thinking about building up a script of content for your video, which helps get your message across.
