Japan is arguably the most high tech country in the world. With its advanced warning systems, they are able to predict earthquakes and even send texts to people warning them of impending danger. Following the recent earthquake we saw videos posted on YouTube and heard of people communicating their safety through Twitter and Facebook etc.

How many people are aware of the assistance that Google provided? If you logged onto Google during the tsunami crisis, you will have been alerted to the impending danger on the main page. Google managed to get the important message of tsunami danger to countless people across the World. In modern society it’s possible to get important messages across in many different ways, to very many people in many different regions. Avenues previously unused have now become the most intuitive ways to send vital messages.
