Role of an Account Manager

As the saying goes there is no ‘I’ in team, and there is certainly no ‘I’ in Account Management. Think of an Account Manager as someone putting a very large jigsaw together, the sole purpose is to complete the puzzle using all the necessary pieces. With any given project there is a number of disciplines that are blended together to create a beautiful masterpiece, the Account Manager is the glue that holds the project together.

Time management and good communication are vital components of the role. The Account Manager may be the person who gets the final approval from the client, but this can only be delivered as a result of internal meetings, going through the amends process, as well as dedication to meet the client brief.
