SEO / Web Optimisation Manager
Job Description
As a result of our success we are looking for a SEO / Web Optimisation Manager with client-facing experience who can maintain the high services levels we provide to our clients across various sectors, and build on our existing SEO, optimisation & social media procedures. This successful candidate will already be a highly organised, self motivated and have excellent planning and communication skills. You will be expected to bring your good understanding of internet marketing, SEO and social media to benefit our client base to improve client outcomes and inspire your direct reports.
Duties are as follows:
- Understanding client needs, identifying and developing SEO, social media and link building strategies, analysis of competitor activity, agreeing the final plan with the client and following through to successful execution
- Managing day-to-day client relationships over the phone, face-to-face and through client presentations
- Manage a team of Web Optimisation specialists
- Implement & co-ordinate client campaigns accurately & on-time through effect project management
- Achieve clients objectives as defined by the Account Management Team
- Improve our processes and methods to better serve our clients
Skills
We need a hard-working specialist with a proven track record in internet marketing, who is excited about becoming part of a fast growing digital team and realises the opportunities that this can bring for both individual and team.
The ideal candidate should have:
- At least 2-3 years agency experience in the field of internet marketing, where you successfully handled a number of accounts simultaneously
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Strong relationship building skills, both internal and client-facing
- Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to demonstrate previous success in managing and improving internet marketing outcomes for clients
- Able to display a creative approach to meeting client briefs
- A passion for SEO, internet marketing and search in general
- Outstanding attention to detail, quality & accuracy
- Ability to manage your own time efficiency, complete tasks on deadlines and ability to successfully manage at least one support person
Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate good level of expertise and knowledge in the following:
- Basic web development understanding e.g. HTML, CSS
- Understand how search engines and websites work
- Strong IT skills and experience of data analysis and manipulating
- Have experience in the use of web analytics programs
- Aware of website conversion enhancement and usability best practice
- Know how to conduct online competitor analysis and research
- Have a strong understanding of SEO, including keyword research, link building, online PR, site build and social media.
Required Qualifications
Relevant marketing qualifications are of interest, but proven experience in an internet marketing environment is a vital. The company is stable, self-funded, established and growing rapidly.
